In face-to-face classes when I ask about managers and bosses lots of the classes complain about what their workplace leaders do wrong. More complaints than compliments, unfortunately. Why don't you think of your current manager / leader in the workplace. Think of a situation that you think demonstrates behavior that makes this person a great or weak leader. Summarize the situation. Analyze the situation based on two or more concepts from the leadership chapter's reading. This demonstrates how these concepts are applied in the workplace.

Leadership concept talks about the different types of leadership styles but among all two are very common which are found in most of the organization which are Autocratic leadership style and second one is democratic leadership style.

I would like to share one example of my workplace through which these concepts or types of leadership can be easily related, my team is bit rude and never gives that much importance to grievances of it teams members and tries to ignore their problem for example if somebody has an general issue in family and he wants one day leave, so sometimes he totally ignored or say the it will be considered leave without pay.

Any important decisions is to be taken in which feedbacks from each team member is considered but my team leader always take decision on its own understandings and not even ask for suggestion, so such kind of leadership can be related to autocratic leadership style which is most common in organizations and employees who are complaining are always been through or are working under such kind of leadership style.

Second example is the general one like the leader who looks for improvement of skills in it team member by sharing feedback to them so that there is some scope of improvement in their working and always take their suggestions in important decision matters, such kind of leadership concept is democratic leadership style which we can find in big Multinational companies like google, Microsoft, Facebook, tcs and many more.
