1. Group 1 Mean = 25.93

Group 2 Mean = 29.8

df = 28

t = -1.535

Do not reject Ho

2. This is experiment because "randomly assing half the children to a group'.

3. The hypothesis being tested is:

H0: µ1 = µ2

H1: µ1 ≠ µ2

4. Swimming treatment 2 group students since they have a higher mean.

5. The critical value is 2.05.

Since 1.535 < 2.05, we do not reject the null hypothesis.

Since the p-value (0.138) is greater than the significance level (0.05), we fail to reject the null hypothesis.

6. Therefore, we can conclude that swimming with dolphins helped the children.
