a. The level of measurement used in systolic blood pressure measured in Millibars is interval scale and the variable is quantitative.

Since cystic blood pressure measure on a numeric scale it is quantitative variable and and the true value of the blood pressure doesn't exist hence the level of measurement used is interval scale.

b. The level of measurement used in an IQ measured with standard intelligent test is ratio scale and the variable is quantitative.

Since the person IQ can score zero on IQ test.

c. The level of measurement used in customer satisfaction is ordinal scale. Since the customer satisfaction measured on an increasing order of satisfaction of a person.

Since the data is not measured on numerical values it is quantitative variable.

d. The price of petrol measured in rands per litre has interval scale of measurement. Since zero value of petrol price does not exist. The variable is quantitative as it is measured on numerical values.

e. The level of measurement used in handness is nominal since the data contains only the names of handness. It is a qualitative random variable.
