Answer #1

1)option C is the correct answer.

Alcohol based sanitzers helps in their antimicrobial activity by their ability to denature and coagulate proteins and thus by bringing bacteria, virus etc to a non functional form.Because it causes microbes to lose their protective coating. They can kill vegetative bacteria, most viruses and most fungi.High level disnfection kill some, but not necessarily all bacterial endospores.Formaldehyde is used as a disinfectant and sterilant in both its liquid and gaseous states, but disinfection will not necessarily kill all micro-organism especially bacterial endospores. They can reduce their effect of contamination.Spore forming bacteria like C.diff are usually not killed by alcohols, use of soap and water is more effective than alcohol based hand rubs.

2)option C is the correct answer.Normal flora are micro-organisms that are always present on or in a person and usually do not cause any disease,That type of bacteria may present in our hands even after a handwash. But it does not cause any disease.Suh types of bacteria are found in our digestive tract etc..
