Please describe the different kinds of meetings. Please explain each and give examples of each type of meeting, association, breakout session, conference, plenary session, etc.

Meetings:-

1) Annual General Meeting: It is shareholder's meeting of public sector company annually held in which new member of the board is appointed and shareholder can ask about health of the company.

2.Board meeting:It is gathering of Directors of board or decision makers to make decisions on most important points.

3.Breakout session: It is meeting of the specific attendees of a large conference or convention to discuss specific subject or aspect of main meeting related to that conference or convention.

4. Business Dinners: It is a small gathering of employees of an organization to celebrate achievements of themselves in the company or to boost employees morale.

5.Convention: Large gathering with people of similar interest having a keynote speaker. It is held at the particular time every year.

6.Conference:It is small gathering as compared to convention which is held for discussing a specific subject by putting new ideas and innovations.

7.Colloqium: It is a gathering of academic nature where subect specialists scholars etc come together to present their views. Here the lecturer or scholars giving speech has to take questioms from the audience to answer it.

8.Congress: Gathering of intellectuals to take decision by debate and voting process. It is scheduled on regular basis.

9.Conclave:It is closed door secret meetings of powerful persons which lead to some important decisions.

10.Meetups: An informal meeting with people of shared interest.

11.General sessions or plenary sessions: Gathering opened to people before any convention or conference to attend the session for discussing panel to keynotes.

12.Press conference: This is a gathering of press people organized by newsmaker related to politics, movies, sports etc. They make important announcements.
