Net effective resistance R of a parallel connection is given by R = R1xR2/ (R1 + R2)

R = 18.75 ohms , R1 = 25 ohms , R2 =?

18.75 = 25x R2 / (25 + R2)

18.75*25 + 18.75 R2 = 25 R2

468.75 = 6.25 R2

R2 = 468.75 / 6.25

R2 = 75 ohms
