Part a) What is the handing drop technique?
Part b) Why does it help to adjust the aperature iris diaphragm when performing the hanging drop technique?
A. Hanging drop technique is used for viewing microorganisms/Bacteria without any stain. It is usually done to see motility of bacteria. In this method we put a drop of broth (containing growth of bacteria) over a slide and visualize it under microscope. As no stains are used therefore the shape, motility (as organism remains viable) can be well visualized.
B. Handing drop technique doesn't use any stain and most of bacteria are colourless and have relative low contrast to surrounding water medium. This makes bacteria difficult to visualize. To overcome this problem we adjust iris diaphragm, this enables us to increase contrast between bacteria and water. It also helps to focus light on small area. This helps in easy visualization of bacteria.

by expiremnt when we drop aluminum pin and magnatic pin from the
same point. why does the aluminum reaches the ground faster than
imagnatic? (hint: it has to do with the net force)
Why when we drop A into the tube it goes fast while if we drop B it takes much more time "Explain it"

Why does a drop of medicine form a teardrop when there are no forces acting on it? O That shape has the least surface area. O That shape provides the greatest volume. O Because intermolecular forces are repelled by the tear drop shape. O It doesn't it forms a sphere. Question 2 4 pts
