Condenser lens is use to focus the light onto the specimen. A condenser is an optical lens which render a divergent beam of light from a point source into parallel or converge light to illuminate an object.

9. b. The immersion oil concentrates light to help with resolution of the image.

Immersion is a technique used to increase the resolution of an image by placing an immersion oil of high refractive index .

10. The iris diaphragm is located below the stage.It control the amount of light coming to specimen.It is mostly located above condenser and below stage.
