In this inversion cold air underlies the warm air at the altitude. It is mainly occured in cold long wintry night. During temperature inversion air pollution released in the atmosphere. Long residency over an industrial area may result episode of smog in the atmosphere. On the other hand ice Strom is a result of temperature inversion in colder region. Thunderstorms and tornadoes also developed during temperature of inversion because of the intense energy that is released after an inversion.
