Answer #1

Answer :- nitrogen fixation ( conversion of N2 to NH4+) require the nitrogenase complex is true

Explanation :-

The enzyme, nitrogenase which is capable of nitrogen reduction is present exclusively in prokaryotes.

Example :- azotobacter, cyanobacteria, nostoc

Such microbes are called N2-fixers.

The enzyme nitrogenase is a Mo - Fe protein and catalyses the conversion of atmospheric nitrogen to ammonia.

The ammonia is frist stable product of nitrogen fixation.

At the physiological pH, the ammonia is protonated to form NH4+ ( ammonium) ion.

Answer 1311:- false

During nitrogen fixation, the nitrogenase enzyme requires a very high input of energy { 16 ATP for each N2 fixation}

N₂ + 8 e + 8 H+ + 16 ATP 2NH₂ + H₂ + 16 ADP + 16 Pi Energy requires for I Ny fixation is 16 ATP

Answer 1321 :- true

During nitrogen fixation nitrogen convert into ammonia. Between the nitogen ( N2 ) molecule triple bond is present, so breakdown of these bond requirement of high energy and powerful reductant to reduce atmospheric nitrogen to ammonia.

Answer 1331 :- false

No CO2 involve in nitrogen fixation. But in latest research became known the CO2 can increase nitrogen fixation but not involve in this fixation cycle.
