a)

(i) The eukaryotic cell have a nuclear membrane that make distinct separation from nucleus and cytoplasm,

(ii) The histone proteins are present in the eukaryotic neucleus that makes nucleoprotein complexes and mostly mitochondria and chloroplasts precent in eukaryotic cells.

b)

Extrachromosomal DNA are plasmids.

Using plasmid DNA genetically engineered product can be obtained by recombinant DNA technology.

Hence plasmid are most importantly used for making recombinant DNA.
