Realistically if you have a shipment worth $150,000 and you are being asked for a tip its going to be by the local gangs or mobs. In that circumstance you would have to follow along so as to not lose your life. I would immediately change jobs as the company's practices do not match my morals or the governments inititives to stop corruption. Your values and place of well being should be more important to you then any amount of money being offered to work with a corrupt company. In Countries or places that bribery is relatively accepted there also follows a higher crime rate. I myself would want to avoid any job that could go against my morals, send me to jail, or possibly death. The world as a whole is making great strides in enforcing laws to deter corruption of any kind. That will not ultimately stop anyone from commiting crimes but it will serve as a deterrent. I feel the only reason most continue to pay the bribers is because they are in to deep and didnt know a way out with out getting murdered or losing thousands in profits. Which is why I would make the decision to give him a tip and never return back to the company and relocate to a new area free of the corruption.

No, I don't agree with this. I instead reject from giving tip which will go into the pocket of any mob or gang. I would like to oppose this hooliganism and I will perform the duty of being a conscious citizen without taking care of anything else. If I want to get rid of corruption, I have to take the initiative only without thinking about anything else. I can't go on and avoiding things and then blaming the system. I am part of a system myself and It becomes my responsibility to stop corruption on its initial step. I will go against the system that carries out such practice. I can't back off from this situation. I would fight against this system until I get justice instead of paying money to any local gang or goons. If someone does not take action against this system then it will continue And this system will affect people even further Which is even worse. So it becomes my responsibility to face the challenge and not leave the situation and run away. Giving bribe and then leaving the job is not the solution. The right solution is to fight back for what's right.
