Answer #1

Ans:

AHG-CDC crossmatch test is known as Antihuman Globulin(AHG)-Complement Dependent Cytotoxicity(CDC) crossmatch test. CDC is used for detecting donor specific anti human leukocyte antigen(HLA) antibodies in kidney transplantion or organ transplantation. Addition of Anti human Globuin(AHG) to CDC increases the sensitivity to detect HLA antibodies and it gives more accurate assessment and results.
