Community-Oriented Primary Care (COPC) is a systematic and development process for identifying and addressing the health problems of a particular defined population. It is implemented with the resources which is available in most communities. In this a health professionals and community members work in partnership, diagnosing and treating a community in similar way as a primary care physician with an individual patient.

Family medicine, with its emphasis on comprehensive care of patients, embraces the concept of care of the community. Many physicians familiar with the term practices and train other people for the proper care of the people with diseases.

It includes (1) COPC or population-based medicine are included in residency training and modeled by residency programs; and (2) during training, resident family physicians acquire the ability to recognize community health needs, intervene appropriately, and assess the outcome.

Proper health conditions are provided. Proper diagnosis of the diseases are done. Moreover the safe child birth is being administered which is very important in those conditions. Proper clean and safe environment should be given to avoid disease.
