= (x1-x2) +/- t\alpha/2 * sqrt( (s12/n1) + (s22/n2) )

Now find those values

x1 = 2.4

n1 = 10

Ti- T i=1

From the above formula we can find s12

s12 = 2.489

Similarly

x2 = 6.1

n1 = 10

s22 = 1.656

Given

\alpha = 1-0.936 = 0.064

t\alpha/2 = 1.973

93.6 % C.I is

= (x1-x2) +/- t\alpha/2 * sqrt( (s12/n1) + (s22/n2) )

= (2.4-6.1) +/- 1.973 * sqrt( (2.489/10) + (1.656/10) )

= -3.7 +/- 1.27025

= -4.91 , -2.43
