Basic Size:- Basic size is the exact size from which limits are derived from allowances and tolerances .

Clearance:- This is clearance fit. If the difference between high limit of shaft and low limit of hole is positive then the fit is called as Clearance Fit.

Maximum Condition:- It is the maximum dimensions of the mating components.
