Hazards of preparing and using Homemade soaps

1) The soap is made of combining fat with the Lye (Sodium Hydroxide-NaOH). During the making of soap if it splashes causes a serious damage to eyes and skin.

2) Soap that which is improperly aged whould results in caustic

3) Lye can cause permanent injuries, blindness, chemical burns upon its contact.

4)Swallowing Lye could result in fatal

5)Sodium Hydroxide(Lye) reacts with aluminum gives hydrogen gas where hydrogen is highly flammable , mixing at large proportinate is dangerous.

6)The Solvation of dry solid Sodium Hydroxide is highly exothermic, resulting in heat may ignite flammables
