1)Electrostatic force: This is not strong force. But it can alter the way the protein fold. Here like charges repel and unlike charges attract

2)Hydrogen bond:It drives two of the most common protein structures, appha hrlix and beta sheet. An alpha helix is a right handed spiral. Hydrogen bonds with hydrogen from NH and oxygen from OH on each amino acid backbone form at every 3-4 amino acid residues (individual amino acids ).Beta sheet is a straight chain that will bend back on itself like a ribbon. Each sheet connected by 2-3 H linkage.

3)Hydrophobic forces :some amino acid parts don't like water. So protein will fold in order to get water fearing part inside and loving part outside.

4)They are strongest force. Since actual covalent bond is formed between two cysteine amino acids, they are rigid.

pH and Temperature are two external forces that interfere with all forces given above .

1)Dispersive and attractive forces between can interfere by electrolytes(which contains ions)

2)It can affected by high temperature

3)Glutathione is a reagent that affect disulfide bond.  

4)change in pH can affect hydrophobic forces.
