Adjusting to a culture is a difficult process. This is due to the many differences in beliefs, morals, and way of living. In order to adjust to the difficulties, you will need to take into account a few different things. One way that a person could overcome difficulties when adjusting to culture is to educate yourself prior to entering this different environment. In order to do this, you should do different research and talk to people already in the culture. This will help in many ways such as learning what is respected and what is not within. Another way a person could overcome difficulties that come when entering/adjusting to a new culture is to have an open mind while also understanding your own personal morals. Willingness to respect other peoples way of life will allow for more acceptance among the population in the culture. While emerging yourself into a new culture, you must also take your own personal needs into consideration.

I have not had the privilege to visit many foreign countries to understand adapting to a culture. Going to Mexico and the Dominican Republic showed me lots of differences in culture. Although it was a genuine place where people lived a different way, it was very "tourist" like due to staying in a resort both times. I did use an open mind while attending these places in order to really take in the culture as best I can. It was important to understand that the people that lived there have their own beliefs and morals and they should be accepted as much as visitors are.

Yes, it is very true that when a person enter into totally different territory like traveling to another country or going for work assignment in foreign countries etc then they face many difficulties like they meet with people from different culture. this can make that person to feel alone because of difference in values, believes, language etc. I also think that a person can handle these difficulties with proper research before entering into that culture or country.

My family plans to travel In India for few weeks so my family plans to gather as much information about Indian Culture on internet, social media, interacting with Indian people in neighborhood.

This helps my family to know about Indian culture so when we go to India for trip we do not feel lost or alone in crowd of people.

It is also true that a person should not be close minded about other people's culture. They should have respect and value for their culture in order to learn from their culture otherwise we would have a huge cultural gap.

If i talk about how people can learn about other culture by interacting with people from different culture face to face basis or Online like social media like FB. Make friends from different culture and always listen and respect them . We should not show that our culture is great or best. it would offend others which would increase difficulty more for us. so in short be open, respectful and diligent in order to learn about more culture and remove cultural differences.
