How would a full gestation baby be likely to differ from a preterm baby? What evidence supports the theory of a preterm delivery impacting attachment? Could the vagal system be part of this proposed issue? Is it more likely that the cause of the preterm delivery has a greater impact on attachment than the size and unfinished development of the infant?

Ans :- In the gestation baby there are some process to develop fisrt develop the fetus it develop in first three month then embryo develop inside the cavity called amnion then placenta, it is an organ made up of cells from the mother and it allow to receive the nutrients and oxygen and removes CO2 and other waste and responsible for fatal development. In the 6-12 days develop into vascular layer of uterus and placenta and embryos cells start to specialize on the 16 days the neural tube appears. From days 25th day heart appear and beating and in 40 days brain begins to develop. At week 61 the fetus measures around 35cm and more than 1 kg

In the preterm baby. Generally the baby weight should be 2,500g. In this include both preterm and small for dates babies also called premature infants and born before the beginning of 38th week of gestation and if born 32-36 completed weeks. But inthe preterm baby born before completed of 32 weeks and these infants are anatomically and functionally immature therefore their neonatal mortality is high and cause poor socio economic status, low maternal weight, chronic and acute systemic maternal illness, antepartum hemorrhage, cervical incompetence
