The line for the cross-section has been shown on the image.
Along this line, at first, the points of intersection of the
different beds have been determined. After that, along the
direction of the cross-section line, the apparent dips of the beds
have been determined using the following formula:
Using these dips for the beds, the beds have been plotted on the
cross-section.
The bed remaining at the core of an antiform is the oldest bed.
This convention has been followed here to determine the relative
age of the beds.
