Complete the memo and attach it to this assignment in Blackboard. Routine Request - Helping a Friend You are a plant manager of the Monterey Manufacturing Company in Pearl River, Louisiana. You manufacture automotive ball bearings. Currently, you have 125 employees. One of your employees, Francis Benoit, has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Francis is well known and well liked at the plant, but his illness has kept him out of work for over two months, and he has exhausted all of his sick leave. His doctor believes he will probably be out of work for at least three more months. You want to encourage your employees to donate sick leave time to Francis. Employees can donate up to five days sick leave each. No one is required to participate, but anyone who can should give at least a few hours of sick leave. To donate sick leave time to Francis, employees must fill out a form in the Human Resource management department. Forms must be submitted before the end of the month for accounting purposes. Any unused hours and days will return to those who have donated on a proportional basis. Write a memo to be posted in the break room encouraging/persuading the employees to donate time to Francis.

Answer #1

Hi all,

This is with regards to helping hands that we hope to extend to the treatment of our beloved colleague, Francis who has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will be out of work for more than 3 months now. Francis has been admitted into hospital 2 months before and he has exhausted all his sick leaves by now. Hence, this memo is a kind request to help Francis in donating you sick leaves voluntarily. The donation can range from a few hours to a maixmum of five days per employee. The donation can be done by filling a form available with the HRM department. Forms must be duly filled and submitted by the end of the month. Any unused hours and days will return to those who have donated on a proportional basis. Hope you all come forward to help Francis with your donations.

Thanking you all in advance for the support.

Regards,

XXXX
