Answer #1

1:- In the above experiment our purpose is to show that the change in gravitational potential energy depends only on the difference of heights from the ground not on the path. Like in this experiment even though we change the inclination angles but still we get almost the same velocity at the end of the roller and cars drops nearly the at same distance in each observation. In this we try to find the distance of car after release from roller from same height with different different inclination angles and we observe that the distance is nearly the same each and every time we release the car. This shows that change in gravitational potential energy depends on the corresponding heights from the ground.

2. In the data table we check the distance at which car falls and we find it nearly same in every observation from different incline angles but from same height.

3.Intially at the Height ,h, where we held the car at roller the potential energy is maximum and their is no kinetic energy . When we release the car then kinetic energy increases with same amount as the potential energy decreases. Gain in kinetic energy is equal to the loss in potential energy and every time we release the car from same height so at end of roller loss in potential energy is remains same and gain in kinetic energy at end of roller remains which results the same falling point of car on the ground.

4. Same as in part c answer.
