Feedforward strategies - Feedforward information is the information one provides before sending primary messages. It reveals information on messages to come for instance opening paragraph, movie previews, introduction in public speeches, magazine covers, etc.

Strategies to reduce employee theft

  • open channels of communication & convey the accepted rules
  • Disclaim: State and communicate that employees should take care of their belongings, place them in allocated lockers, to avoid loss in case even cameras are unable to record articles being stolen. Clearly mention the policy.

Feedback control measures to reduce workplace violence

Feedback is a dynamic system whose behaviour changes over a period of time in response to external stimulation. The systems are connected together for each system to influence the other dynamically. It is a circular arrangement rather than simple causal reasoning. Such systems are counterintuitive. The system may be a closed loop or an open loop.
