Why am I getting this wrong? It is my belief that the hydrophilic and charged residues would be on the exterior, and they hydrophobic ones would be on the interior.
Due to hydrophobic nature of amino acid, it would be buried in the interior of a water-soluble protein.
Phe amino acid have side non polar side chain. It is hydrophobic in nature therefore it most likely be buried in the interior of a water-soluble protein.
Glycine is simple and unique amino acid.It does not have side chain but it has hydrogen atom at the place of side chain. Therefore it is hydrophobic in nature and found interior of a water soluble protein.
