Answer #1

Image No. A:

1. It is the hip joint/muscle combinations and it will both left and right movements.

2. It is a hip joint/ muscle indicated in the image.

3. It is a flexion movement. Flexion is any action that brings two bones nearer or close to each other and thereby the angle between these bones is reduced. The opposite goes for the extension action.

4. Since it is a flexion action at the hip, the major muscles that are responsible for flexion are the iliopsoas, rectus femoris, sartorius, pectineus muscle.

Image No. B:

1. This image shows the abdominal muscle and these muscles can cause motion/ movement in both left and right movements.

2. The image indicates the abdomen or abdominal muscles.

3. This image indicates a flexion movement where the muscle tone in the abdomen has increased.

4. Abdominal movements are guided by the combination of the four muscles, rectus abdominis (major muscle), internal oblique, external oblique, and transverse abdominis muscle.

Image No. C:

1. This image shows the vertebral column under flexion. It also show both types of movements.

2. This image shows the vertebral column under flexion.

3. It is a flexion movement. Flexion is any action that brings two bones nearer or close to each other and thereby the angle between these bones is reduced.

4. The major muscle involved in this movement is psoas major, which flexes thigh at the vertebral column and the hip-joint.
