I would like to be a marketing manager after my graduation. It will help me to meet and interact with many people in my career and the salary is also good in this role. Some of the most important sough-after skills at this job are communication skills including public speaking, ability for networking, persuasive skills, team management skills, attention to detail, creativity, knowledge of current technology and mathematical and analytical skills. I feel like possessing most of the skills required because I am good in communication and public speaking which would help me a lot in managing the team and customers. My ability to network and make new friends and persuasive skills also will be helpful in the role. I am good in mathematics and also possess good analytical skills. I do not have much knowledge on technology while considering the marketing field and also team management skills are not tested yet. My creative skills are also less while considering the current generation.

I can better myself by developing knowledge on the technology as well as team management skills. Knowledge on the current market is very essential to be successful as a marketing manager. Creativity is also essential though it is very difficult to develop. Hence I should try to analyze things in a different way and try to be creative. Another skill I need to develop to better myself professionally is attention to detail which would help me to focus on data and avoid mistakes. There can be many things that may distract me while marketing, but the ability to be attentive will help me to overcome those barriers.
