Answer #1

Instead of picking up on a lack of enthusiasm, the map or the chart given above argues that non-native English speakers or those from other parts of the EU or beyond are more likely to take Britons at face value and believe they're thinking, I accept your point of view. The complexities of these packed interactions, which were also studied, may seem very disconcerting. The Objective Truth behind what the British claim and what they really think and what the Dutch really understand can depend somewhat on the characteristics of the person-and country.

It seems to me that the first column of the map / chart given is a very antiquated, gentle, white middle-class, friendly and decorous way to make a point. It's a vague interpretation of what we're doing, and it disregards any meaning. I just think it's better to be honest and let people know where you're. If people milk the pill, it's kind of irritating. There are moments when it needs to be done. And whether you want to be responsive or cautious. But if you're with your friends down the pub and somebody says something clearly ridiculous, then you should make your case and directly challenge it. If you do this by going around the buildings, the effect is absent.
