According to an interview, I read a few days back, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla inc. and SpaceX program mentioned how important it was for him to be seen as an equal at his workplace for the coworkers to be able to innovate and be creative with their ideas and solutions and not have a communication gap between them. A team needs to stay together, even though all the differences and work through every problem to find the perfect solution to the problem. It is also important to create such an environment for the coworkers that creates productivity, reduces negativity and essentially allows a company to be able to receive maximum output and worker satisfaction that they can get. Comparing them to my view, I agree to Mr Musk’s reason but also feel that while it is necessary for the work output of the company. It is just as necessary to allow the company and their coworkers to bond at a more intimate level and gain mental satisfaction as well as work satisfaction which will enable them to increase their work as well as stay happy and essentially communicate through all their differences despite the fact that they might have a difference of opinion.
