It is a case of dominant epistasis. Where B responsible for black color only when both gene are dominant i.e B and C. Also brown dog will be produced only when b allele is in homozygous condition and other C in dominant.

Also golden color will only appear when C allele is homozygous recessive.

Possible genotype of brown dog = bbCc or bbCC

Possible genotype of golden = Bbcc or BBcc or bbcc

If all are black then the possible genotype of black is B_C_

Then parental golden must have BBcc genotype also brown have bbCC genotype for producing only black offspring (BbCc)
