Semantic memory refers to unrelated facts and general knowledge stored in the brain. It consists of various kinds of associations connected to a product. Semantic memory though being long term does not necessarily lead a customer to choose a particular product.

Autobiographical memory is a long term memory which consists of a person's life experiences and associations with their life events. If a customer has a positive experience of using a company's product previously, he is more likely to purchase again from the same company.

So, autobiographical memory is the answer.
