Business policies and procedures help the company to prevent from legal suits when their policies are in accordance of law of the country like implementing fair compensation policy or providing good working conditions based on employee compensation law or workforce safety law of the country.

With business having people from different background like age, gender, sexual orientation, culture, nationality etc which makes diversity at workplace also leads to discriminatory activities at workplace by its management.There law called Equal employment opportunity law which was established by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to assist in the protection of United States employees from discrimination ( US EEOC ,2010). The law was the first federal law designed to protect most US employees from employment discrimination based upon that employee's (or applicant's) race, color, religion, sex, or national origin

the requirements to enforce anitidiscrimination policies include that employer of the company would not involve any kind of discrimination to hire, fire or to promote an employee or candidate in the company.

management and its other people will respect diversity at workplace and there should not be any cultural differences among people.

No, i do not know any person yet who had suffered from discrimination activity but if anyone becomes the victim then the victim can file the legal suit under EEOC to get justice or if employer and employee want to solve things out peace fully then they can take arbitration route to solve matters.
