2. Resolution- it is the shortest distance between the two objects in an image is distinguished and viewed as seperate units.

a the resolving power of human eye is 200 micrometer, light microscope 200nm, electron microscope- o.2nm

b blood cells, mitochondria can be viewed by light microscope, but it does n't have a clear view and proteins are too smaller so all three can be viewed distinctly by electron microscopy.

c advantages of confocal microscope- it is used to eliminate out of focus light in specimens by spatial filtering.

it provides better resolution and it is able to control depth of field & close examination of sample
