Describe why it is important to anticipate and forestall certain objections. Describe how you would forestall a common concern that students some have about attending college is a small town. State exactly how you would respond to or forestall the concern of attending college in a small town.

There are of course several choices to consider. Location is a basic, but significant one. We all have different interests and lifestyles and we want to select a school that fits well with how we live our lives. Nonetheless, some of us don't fall into well defined categories. We may appreciate a city's possibilities and excitement while still knowing that we are rooted in a small town, rural setting. Usually, the town school seems like the more attractive alternative when you're torn between those two impulses. You will not only be surrounded by potential jobs, but on the weekend you will still have plenty to do. Oh, perhaps most. Yet as someone who, after almost choosing to attend a university in a major city, ended up at a small-town college, I can happily say that I made the right choice. While this is not for all, college experience outside of a major metropolitan area can bring significant benefits. College students usually aren't rich. We don't usually hold down full-time, adult work, and our education-related expenses will hurt our already small bank accounts. That said, you'll want to have fun when you're spending time with friends on the weekend. Just hanging around the dorm isn't the way you want your free time. I can't relate specifically to the social environment because I haven't attended college in a city but I can say what seems to be the case based on my peers. Simply placed, in a neighborhood, the students don't have as much group experience. After all, you all have a much greater area to visit when the weekend rolls around and public transportation ensures you'll be able to. Some of your classmates may hang around the dorms, some may just wander to some fun spots within walking distance, and some may take miles away from them. N a small town, when every place you may want to go on a Friday night is within walking distance, you're going to start bumping into the same people.

Concluding, It might not be incredibly difficult to get around a big city but it also needs some planning. Unless you want to go somewhere not within walking distance – and given the chance, you're definitely going to – you're going to have to take a train, wait for a bus or catch a taxi. You'll have to persuade your mates that their time and money is worth the ride. You'll need to make sure you know where you're going to get to. You'll have to take into account how long it takes you to get there, and how long it takes you to get back to your dorm. Once again, anything you would want to do in a small town is within walking distance. Consequently, you will be more casual in your social life.
