It is difficult to know the true prevalence of child maltreatment because not all cases are reported. How can we—both as a society and as a field—work to improve identification of maltreatment? What concept, term, or theory did you find to be the MOST interesting or surprising from “Trauma-Related Disorders & Child Maltreatment” ?

In this case , I would like to speak about Child Abuse problem which is one of the maltreatment faced by the childrens.

1. To mix with other parents of the child's community. Helping to find a playgroup for the children, as it would keep them lively and happy.

2. Would recommend the parents of the children not to leave their child alone .

3. To make the children aware , that when a discussion is heading towards premature sexual talk.

4. To teach a child that they should be vocal about the problem / maltreatment they are facing.

5. To pay greater attention when a child is someone is showing more interest than usual.

6. To teach them , what should be done when they are seperated from his/her family members.

I would like to apply attachment theory . It helps in building strong emotional attachment and a provides a proper caring towards children. It helps in developing the personality of a child.
