Question

In this discussion, you are to talk about the culture of your class (or classes if you have experience with multiple years or departments). What are some of the written and unwritten rules? Is the culture to procrastinate? Or is your class culture to blaze ahead as soon as you are given an assignment? How are problems solved when they arise? What about making decisions? Give as much detail about the culture as possible If you had the power to change the culture with a snap of your fingers (just like Thanos wiped out half the population of the universe), what would you change? Can you help me on this. Thanks

Answer #1

Culture includes the customs and social behavior of a group of people. The culture of our class is mostly made up of unwritten rules. Some such rules are: we do not have any fixed places in the class. We keep changing our places in the class everyday so we also sit with a different person everyday. Whoever enters the class first opens the windows of the class and whoever leaves the class last switches off the electrical appliances in the classroom. As far as assignments are concerned, we discuss the assignments among ourselves for better ideas and thoughts and then we write it in our own words. Submission of the assignment is done on time, neither early nor late. If any problem arises in the class then the class representative takes the initiative and others also co-operate to solve the problem. A final decision is taken after a consensus is reached among all the people involved in the issue.

If I had to change a culture in my class then it would be reducing the frequency of usage of mobiles and increasing oral communication among my classmates.
