First Question:

Facilitated diffusion is a type of passive transport where molecules move from high to low concentration with the aid of transport proteins such as carrier protein & channel protein. As this is passive transport, no external energy is require & molecules move down their concentration gradient. Hydrophobic & small polar uncharged molecules can easily diffuse through the phospholipid bilayers. However large hydrophilic & charged ions (Both small & large) can't move across the phospholipid bilayers by simple diffusion; they require facilitated diffusion & move with the help of carrier & channel proteins. The answer is summarized in the following table.

Second Question:

Prokaryotic cells are relatively small in size (1-10μ m) & simpler in nature. They lack membrane bound organelles which can be found in eukaryotes. They also lack proper nucleus. But like eukaryotes they also have cell membrane. The answer is summarized in the following table.
