When the electron transfer from succinate dehydrogenase to the coQ is intercepted, the FADH2 will not able to pass its electrons to the electron transport system and thus the total number of ATP molecules synthesized per molecule will be less by 4 ATP molecules.

Krebs cycle will also come to a halt as the succinate dehydrogenase one of the important enzymes of the cycle.
