Stock solution = C1= 1M TBE

Required= 500 mL of 0.25 M TBE

C2= 0.25M

V2= 500 mL

C1 V1= C2 V2

1 M X V1= 0.25 M X 500 mL

V1= 0.25 M X 500 mL/1M= 125 mL

There is requirement for formation of 7 bottles of final solution

Minimal amount of 1M TBE required to make these 7 bottes= 7 X 125 mL= 875 mL
