both plates A and B are plated with the same dilution. when 10 g meat is mixed in 90 ml water, it becomes 10% solution. however, there is no dilution till this point. this can be said as a stock solution or original solution. or since 10 g of meat is dissolved in 100 ml water, this can be said as 10/100 or 10-1 dilution. therefore, A and B plates would have the same dilutions (10-1 dilution). however, the volume taken to plate is different.

the first dilution (1ml of the original solution in 9 ml of water) would be 1/10-1 dilution = 10-2 dilution. C and D would have 10-2 dilution factor

second dilution (1 ml of 10-2 dilution in 99 ml of water) would be 10-4 dilution. E and F would have 10-4 dilution factor

third dilution (1 ml of 10-4 dilution in 9 ml of water) would be 10-5 dilution. G and H would have 10-5 dilution factor

fourth dilution (1 ml of 10-5 dilution in 99 ml of water) would be 10-7 dilution. I and J would have 10-7 dilution factor

fifth dilution (1 ml of 10-7 dilution in 9 ml of water) would be 10-8 dilution. K and L would have 10-8 dilution factor
