ATP ( Aenosine triphosphate ) a molecular unit of currency for cells,therefore drives processes such as muscle contraction, nerve impulse and chemical synthesis by providing energy. hence ATP have highest energy potential.

while other optiions act as precursors for the generation of the ATP

Explanation; Before going through question you need to know the osmolarity. knowledge of  isotonic, hypertonic and hypotonic solutions.

For example if hypertonic solution containing greater concentration of solutes is separated by a semipermeable membrane from the hypotonic containing less concentration of solutes. the migration of the water will occur towards the hypertonic solution.

same case implies to the lumen, when bacteria releases the toxins it stimulates serection of electrolytes outside lumen and inside become hypotonic. This causes osmotic imbalance, Hence there is rush of water from the cells in cae of Diarrhea .
