Cushing syndrome
This syndrome is occur because of having too much cortisol in the body. The cortisol is the steriod hormone that perform various function like control blood sugar, reduce inflammation and help to control blood pressure. The high cortisol lead to the disease known as cushing syndrome.
Endocrine system help in regulating a specific amount of each hormone in the body. But when sometime, endocrine system do not work properly, it produce a hormonal imbalance in the body. For example, in cushing syndrome, the structural and functional integrity of endocrine system get disturbed. This high level of cortisol occur when too much secretion of ACTH, stimulate adrenal gland to produce cortisol. In some condition , non cancerous tumor of adrenal cortex lead to the formation of high amount of cortisol in the body.
The impact of this didorder include weight gain, weak muscles, easy bruising and stretch mark on the face. The cushing syndrome occur when some disturbance in adrenal gland produce too much or secrete very less hormone and this disturbance in the working of endocrine system produce health conditions that need to be treated with proper medications.
