I would like to answer this on the facts of a famous Indian company Tata for the segment of Tata Administration Srvices. The main lead Ratan Tata is the famous figure who focused on the employee development and leadership development in the organisation which helped in producing leaders from Tata Administration services, who are serving as the key persons in other Tata Segments.
Basically Tata Administration services is being used as the key initiative for building leaders for its other services.
Here the they take pride in building the brand and core leadership qualities at an early stage of the management trainee that join them. They train him/get on the intitial training for 6-12 months. Which majorly concentrate on soft skills and leadership trainings. And then the leaders are placed to deliver and excel in their service's
Other breaktaking services that are in the pride building path.are:
