Thus, it is very important to take the necessary steps to ensure that the members, as well as the leaders, are satisfied with their jobs and work roles. The following steps can be taken to ensure the same.

  • Leaders must communicate the organizational goals to the subordinates.
  • The members must be given a platform to share their ideas and views to provide them with a sense of belongingness.
  • There must be a system to ensure that the time spent on work is productive.
  • Reviews and Ratings must be free from bias.
  • There must be a 360-degree appraisal system (Currently followed in maximum MNCs)
  • Leaders must communicate the vision and mission to the members of the organization.
  • There must be planned team outings and other team building activities.
  • Free Medical check-ups for employees every quarter or however the HR policy is designed.
  • Schemes related to Employee benefits must be communicated to the members from time to time.
  • Creating health awareness and having a session like Yoga, Meditation or Zumba can be very helpful to have a cheerful workplace.
  • Having an open work culture plays a very important role in keeping employees motivated.
  • to ensure a healthy work environment strict action must be taken against the employees spreading rumors or indulging in other negative activities.
  • Women friendly work culture.
  • Flexible working hours or work from home these days is the most motivating factor for the employees.
  • Team leaders must have unbiased behavior for all.
  • Team leaders must avoid favoritism at any cost.
  • Equal growth opportunities for all must be provided.
