A computer can access devices on the same network but cannot access devices on other networks. The probable cause of this problem is The computer has an invalid default gateway address.

Explanation:

The default gateway is the address of the device a host uses to access the Internet or another network. If the default gateway is missing or incorrect, that host will not be able to communicate outside the local network. As computer is able to access devices on the same network then the network cable and the other parts of the IP configuration are done perfectly. and as host is not able to access the devices on other network then computer must have an invalid gateway address.
