1) Options for dealing with a situation where a person is overcommitted:-

When I would be overcommitted with the overwhelmed work, I may need to get calm myself before starting everything. Next, I would do is to look at the deadlines and make the priorities of a load of works so as to make a schedule of the work. Generally, the tasks whose deadlines are near would be my first priority. I would also check if there are any tasks of the work that I can assign or delegate. If it is not possible to complete all the works under its deadlines, then I might ask for a deadline extension so to manage the work very well. Sometimes canceling a project or two may also be a good option to balance everything.
