It is an immense pleasure to reflect on skills related to the duties and responsibilities of "Physical Therapeutic Recreational Therapist" that is committed to Internship Agency.

1.What specific things do you intend to do during your internship that will demonstrate your committment to the agency, your interest in learning and dedication to the quality of your work?

As a recreation and physicaltherapist, I would love to integrate my theoretical knowledge on theories into practicing my profession.As part of committement to my agency, in my daily work routine, I will apply my communication skills that focus on non judgemental attitude and active listening to my client's problems. I will identify my client's needs and provide activities that are based on the identified needs. I will collaborate and coordinate with the multi disciplinary team for the planning of care of each client. As part of quality improvement, I will immediately report any near miss of any untoward event that would endanger the life of my clients. I will perform routine audits on the structure and processes of my agency while caring for my clients so that if in case of any flaws, I can contribute my ideas so as to improve the system of the agency.

I will show case my leadership if I am a part of a group project

I will help my clients to participate in group activities and social skills training

I will arrange camps and sports activities for my clients

I will collaborate effectively in research activities conducted within the agency

I will attend workshops and conferences related to my job tasks and skills

I will under go continuing education program time to time

I will arrange teaching sessions on topic of interest in discussion with subject experts
