The communication process consists of two phases. In the transmission phase, information is shared between two or more individuals or groups. In the feedback phase, a common understanding is ensured. In both phases, a number of distinct stages must occur for communication to take place.

Effective communication increases efficiency, quality, responsiveness to customers, and innovation, and thus is a competitive advantage for organizations. Communication process: The communication process starts with the sender encoding the message it wants to share with the receiver. Then, after encoding, the message is sent through the medium to the receiver. Receiver receives the message and decodes it. Then, there is the feedback phase using which the receiver shares his response with the sender.
