There are 3 bivalents or 6 homologous chromosomes are present in the Meiosis 1.

But the meiosis 1 is a reductional division. That's why after meiosis 1, there are found three chromosomes. And prophase 2 of meiosis 1 have 3 chromosomes. But there is found splitting of centromere occurs and there is found 6 chromosomes.

But during meiosis 1 have 6 chromosomes. That's why Metaphase1 of meiosis have 6 chromosomes.

The gamete is formed by meiosis and in this case 3 chromosomes are found.

The diploid cell contains 6 chromosomes. There is found splitting of centromere in chromosome occur during Anaphase of mitosis stage. That's why there is found 12 chromosomes.

The number of chromosomes are equal to chromatin.
