it is scary that even cancer is politicized. A big issue that there is so much power, money, and profit in medicine. I wonder how this can change? Would we find more cures if we somehow got rid of the money and power? Isn't healthcare a human and civil right?

Answer #1

We always need money as a resource in order to find the cure.

Because for finding cure, we need to research, do filed studies and these are not possible without having proper resources which comes from money.

Yes it is scary, that a person suffering from cancer need money's and resources in order to treat the cancer, but it is a chronic disease and it takes time and medication to heal. And sometimes even not.

Also with increase in resources , we can find an easy cure for cancer, which is available to everyone and so everyone can get benefit from it.
